Itinerary Details

Day 1:  Makgadikgadi Pans

Departing Johannesburg, we make our way to the Botswana border. We head northwards to Nata, where we camp on the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans. We enjoy the evening around the campfire, getting to know your fellow travellers. D

Day 2:  Livingstone

We cross the Chobe River via ferry and continue to Livingstone. After setting up camp. We enjoy a visit to the magnificent Victoria Falls. We then embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River to enjoy sundowners and the wildlife that inhabits this famous valley. B D

Day 3: Livingstone

Your time is spent at leisure, partaking in the many activities available in the adrenalin capital of Africa. Activities include rafting the wild Zambezi, canoeing, microlighting, gorge swinging, jet boating and more! The brave can do one of the highest bungee jumps in the world or, for the more adventurous, a rhino walk in the National Park. You can also visit the markets, which are filled with great craft souvenirs. The evenings are spent camping on the banks of the mighty Zambezi B D

Day 4: Chobe National Park

This morning is spent at your leisure exploring the town of Livingstone, before departing for Botswana. We set up camp on the edge of the Chobe National Park, where you have the option to relax and enjoy some great game viewing on a Chobe River cruise. B D

Day 5:  Maun

Up at daybreak, we venture out on an open vehicle game drive into the famous Chobe National Park. After breakfast, we depart for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. B D

Days 6 - 7: Okvango Delta

We venture into the wilderness of the Delta; greeted by the local guides in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes) we explore the pristine waters of the Delta by Mokoro and enjoy game walks in search of the abundant wildlife that inhabits this oasis in an otherwise arid region. We set up camp on an island in the Delta and enjoy our evenings under the African skies. B L D

Day 8

We leave behind the tranquillity and memories offered by the Delta on our last Mokoro trip before transferring back to Maun. This afternoon you have the option of a game flight over the Delta, giving you a superb view of the waterways and wildlife. (BD)

Day 9:  Khama Rhino Sanctuary

We depart from Maun and head for the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where we spend the evening camping within the Reserve. B L D

Day 10

Departing early, we cross the border and arrive back in Johannesburg in the late afternoon.  B
