Something that some visitors with children to Africa do not understand, is when some lodges do not accept children. This has nothing to do with the fact that they don't like children. In the wild of Africa, predatory animals like the lion goes for the smallest in a group and a child will "stand out" among adults and will therefore be targeted. Not allowing children at some lodges are done for safety reasons.
