Praslin



Praslin lies some 37 km north-east of Mahe. Coined the "Island of Palms" in the eighteenth century by Frenchman Lazare Picault, this tropical paradise has beautiful beaches, coral reefs teeming with diverse marine life, a UNESCO Site and pristine forests. The island is 10.5 km long and 3.7m km wide, and has numerous intimate hotels.
