60 cottages Surrounding a hippo pool, in the shape of a horseshoe, Bakubung was designed to emphasise enjoyment, whether for families, couples or business. All rooms have DStv, direct dialling phones, electric shaving plugs, coffee/tea making machines and a hair dryer.


Facilities available include a bus shuttle service to and from Sun City at a nominal charge, transfers to Pilanesberg Airport, babysitting, medical services on call, curio shop, banking, pharmaceuticals, wildlife presentations and an array of sports facilities.


Children are welcome and there are many activities available for them. Children between the ages of 0 - 2, no charge. Children between the ages of 2 and 12, 50% of the applicable rate per meal per day. Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the full rate. Children under the age of 18 (maximum 2 children per room) will be accommodated free of charge on a Bed only Basis if sharing with 2 or more adults, but will be charged for meals. Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the full adult rate.
