Falaza overlooks Lake St. Lucia's False Bay and is centrally located for some of South Africa's major game reserves. The Dumazulu Authentic Zulu Village is one of many local places of interest. Falaza Game Park (800ha) hosts Rhino, Leopard and Hippo as well as a wide range of game such as Nyala, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe and Antelope. Falaza is also a major bird watching site, with rare species such as the Pink Throated Twinspot, the African Broadbill and the beautiful Grey Waxbill.
Falaza is situated in sand dunes overlooking the marine shoreline and coral reefs at False Bay and the Greater St. Lucia Wetland.
