Comprising a vast bushveld wilderness, two picturesque camps and a network of connecting roads, Hlane is the perfect retreat for lovers of peace, nature and self-catering isolation. It is also conveniently located on the main road to Mozambique. The camps are simple, clean and friendly. Hlane supports small populations of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, hyena, as well as large populations of zebra, wildebeest, impala, kudu, warthog, and duiker. Also to be seen are many smaller mammals, baboon, vervet monkey, ostrich, steenbok, nyala, bushbuck and waterbuck. Birdlife is prolific with large red-billed quelea nesting colonies during season and the most dense populations of birds of prey in the Kingdom, including bateleur and martial eagle an a variety of vulture species. Ndlovu Camp has two rondavels equipped with gas refrigerators as well as camping and picnicking facilities. There is no electricity and have communal toilet and showers Bhubesi Camp boasts three modern electrified cottages overlooking the Umbuluzana River. Fully self-contained, they sleep four people each.
