Deception Valley Lodge has an ethnic African theme and was built to fit into the surrounding bush without altering, damaging or detracting from its ambience and colour. Here you can experience the vastness of the kalahari and share in the knowledge of the Bushmen who have inhabited Botswana for at least 30,000 years. The cultural walks, guided by Bushmen, remain the highlight at this luxury safari lodge.
With Bushmen at hand to share their knowledge, you can get to know the Bushman's ways of life, survival and hunting skills, while enjoying some of the most prolific bird life and stargazing at night.

The main complex has a dining room, lounge and bar area decorated in warm Kalahari colours making use of Bushmen and other African artefacts. There is a swimming pool close to the main complex, as well as a boma for outdoor dinners, whilst gazing across a clear night sky with its abundance of stars and listen to the enthralling night calls of the wild completes the main complex area.

Each unit has twin-bedded room, en suite. All rooms also have a private spacious lounge. Hairdryer, shaving plugs and bathrobe are standard. All units have ceiling fans, mosquito nets and a mini-bar will. Each room has a victorian style bathroom and outside shower.
