Jao Camp is located in a remote area on an oblong island. Across the waterway in front of camp, guests have access to open flood plains and savannah country for a wonderful Okavango experience.

Sleep out (optional): At the beauty salon we offer a full menu of therapies ranging from Clarin's facials, through to manicures, pedicures and a range of massage options.
Limitations: children 8yrs and older welcome
parties with children between the ages of 8 and 12 years are required to book private activities (unless they have booked the camps on an exclusive basis). This service is subject to availability at the camps on the dates required.

The main dining, lounge and pub area are under cool thatch beneath the tree canopy. Jao Camp also has a swimming pool.

Twin-bedded, canvas-walled rooms en suite. The rooms are raised off the ground and offer wonderful views of the surrounding flood plains. Each room has en suite facilities that include a bath, flush toilet, basins, as well as an outdoor shower.
