Inyati
A typical day at Inyati begins with the beating of African drums, calling you for an early morning cup of tea/coffee. The morning safari begins at dawn and returns to the lodge around 9am for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast you may choose to learn more about the smaller animals, the way in which our fauna/flora influence the traditional cultures and beliefs of Inyati's locals during a foot safari. Or you can watch the comings and goings of wildlife from our river platform. At 14h00 a buffet lunch under the shade of the indigenous trees in the Victorian-like gardens is just what you need to unwind and get in touch with your natural surroundings. The afternoon is spent at leisure. You may wish to relax under the trees, catch 40 winks or swim in the sparkling outdoor pool. For the more active, workout in our fully equipped, air-conditioned gymnasium. The afternoon is spent on another game drive, blending into sundowners in the bush and a night drive.Dinner is in the form of a bush "braai" or is served back at the lodge. After supper, adventures of the day are retold in the Warthog Wallow Bar.
Situated along the curving banks of the Sand River, Inyati Game Lodge is a place of delightful contrast... of brilliant, golden sunshine and cool, shady hideaways.
