Our traversing area is approximately 12000 hectares (29000 acres) of the reserve offering guests varied landscapes with an excellent possibility of coming face to face with the "Big 5" (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) and numerous other mammals and bird species in their natural habitat.Early morning and late afternoon / evening game drives are conducted in open 4 X 4 Land Rovers with well qualified and experienced field guides and trackers who will ensure an exciting and informative safari. An optional bushwalk with your field guide will open up the world of some of South Africa's intricate ecosystems with its varied fauna and flora.

Facilities: 

Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck in an open thatched-roofed lapa overlooking the river, while dinner is served traditional African style around a log fire in one of the two bomas. The camp is not fenced in and animals may wander in from time to time - you will therefore be accompanied between your tent/chalet and the eating boma by your armed ranger.

Accommodation: 

5 thatched, round chalets (rondavels) and 4 luxury tentsA maximum of 18 guests are accommodated in fully furnished, brick and thatch chalets and East African Style Safari Tents, all with en-suite facilities and electricity. There are 3 family chalets available.
