8 day Zambezi Classic Canoe Safari
Transfer to the put in point is 3 hours. Canoeing begins after a safety talk at about 13.00. This safari includes the whole of the Mana flood plain and the Mupata Gorge. On the last night, clients camp at Kanyemba. The transfer back is approximately 8 hours. Clients are expected back in Kariba at approximately 16h00. Please note that this is a camping safari and that there are no fixed ablutions along the way. All times given in this trip description are approximate; they will vary from trip to trip.

Road transfers to and from the safari from Kariba and from Chirundu/ Mana Pool in open 4x4 vehicles. These transfers can be very dusty and bumpy.
All meals and we do cater for dietary requirements such as vegetarian or diabetic if we are given enough advance warning, at least four weeks.
Drinks such as cordials but not minerals. There is no alcohol, other than wine woth dinner each evening. If guests would like to take their own alcohol, minirals and bottled water, we do supply adequate cooler boxes.
All canoeing equipment, the canoes are two-man Canadian style canoes, and the paddles are American Carlisle paddles.
All camping equipment, two-man dome tents, sleeping bags, liners, mattress, mosquito net, fly sheet and tarpaulin (in case of rainy weather).
Fully qaulified canoe guides.
National Park fees payable directly to parks en route.
Limitations: family: no children under the age of 15 accepted unless accompanied by a guardian & there are no other paying clients
Minimum 2 travellers per departure and maximum 8 travellers
cheduled flights: Harare Airport Your briefing will be held at the Kariba Breezes Hotel at 18:15 at the lower pool terrace on the evening before your trip departs. After the briefing you will be asked to sign an indemnity form. Canoeing Safaris will collect you for the briefing and return you to your hotel afterwards.
