Stay at Epupa and visit the Falls and surrounding area, also a visit to a Traditional Himba village is on the program today.

Kaokoveld
Located in the far north-west, Kaokoland is one of the particularly untouched regions in Namibia. The almost inaccessible area south of the Kunene river is the home of the Himba ethnic group, who have kept their ethnic individuality and culture in the seclusion of Kaokoland.
Travelling through this region is only possible under expedition-like conditions in off-road vehicles and, furthermore, should only be done under the leadership of an experienced guide. Tracks are hardly signposted, corrugated and extremely stony or sandy.
Day 6

The Himba like the Masai of East Africa are probably the most striking looking people in Africa. Especially in the remote areas you are visiting, the Himba women are still dressed in their traditional dress.

The Desert Elephant and the Black Rhino roam freely in the areas you travel through, as well as other game species such as the Damara dik-dik, blackfaced impala, gemsbok, etc.
