Start: Johannesburg
Scheduled flights: Johannesburg International Airport
Day 1
Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport. Transfer to Maui's offices. Complete all the necessary paperwork with the aid of one of the helpful staff and go over all the vehicle's operations. After you have stocked up on food and drinks and filled your fuel tanks, you leave for Rietvlei Caravan Park, next to the Rietvlei Nature Reserve, which is just south of Pretoria. In the afternoon you go on a game drive in the Nature Reserve. You have the chance to come eye to eye with white rhinos, Cape buffalo and many antelope species such as the eland, black-wildebeest, Blesbok and many more. You spend your first night on the camping grounds next to the Nature Reserve. (±50km)
Day 2 Blyde River Canyon
Today you head in an easterly direction towards the beautiful area of Mpumalanga. After a scenic drive through the country side you set up camp at the Aventura Blyde River Poort camping site with beautiful views of the Blyde River Canyon, the worlds 3rd largest canyon. (±480km)
Day 3 Pilgrims Rest, Bourkes Luck Pothole, Gods Window
During the morning you take a scenic route and visit places like, Pilgrims Rest, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Pinnacle, Mac Mac Waterfalls and more. Early afternoon you head for the campsite at Skukuza. (±180km)
Day 4 Southern Kruger
Today you explore the Park on your way south to Berg en Dal, your camp site for the night. (±159km)
Day 5 Swaziland
After an early morning game drive in your own vehicles, you leave the Kruger Park through the Malelane Gate. You head down south and enter Swaziland through the Matsamo border, you have ample time for site seeing and visits to the glass factory and the Swazi candle factory. You overnight at the Nisela Safaris camping site. (±395km)
Day 6 Mkuzi Game Reserve
You leave Swaziland through the Golela border post and head for Mkuzi Game Reserve, your next overnight camp. (±100km) Here you have enough time to explore the Game Reserve. More than 380 bird species have been recorded at Mkuzi, including fish eagles, kingfishers and a host of ducks and waders. On walks through a wide variety of habitats, you may see rhino, giraffe, zebra, kudu and impala, among other species.
Day 7 Greater St. Lucia
Travel through the beautiful area of Maputuland, a region of coral, unspoilt beaches, freshwater lakes, sand forests, wetlands systems and bushveld. Your next overnight stop is St. Lucia Game Reserve, World Heritage Site. (±140km) St. Lucia Lake and its surroundings comprise a wetland of global importance. The reserve contains some of the highest forested dunes in the world, as well as swamp and sand forest, palm veld and various woodland vegetarian types. Wildlife includes black rhino, suni, pangolin and red duiker, marine turtles, breeding populations of pink-backed pelicans, Caspian terns, flamingos, and the largest crocodile, hippo and reedbuck populations in South Africa.
Day 8 Golden Gate National Park
You leave early in the morning on your way to the Golden Gate Highlands National Park where you overnight at the Brandwag Hotel. (Dinner, bed and breakfast) (±580km) The Park is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Maluti Mountains of the North Eastern Free State. It gets its name from the brilliant shades of gold cast by the sun on the Park's sandstone cliffs.
Day 9
After exploring the Golden Gate area you travel towards Bloemfontein were you overnight at the Aventura resort Maselpoort. Located on the banks of the Modder River just east of Bloemfontein. (±300km) The nearby naval Hill contains a Game Reserve, other activities available are a casino and a golf course.
Day 10 Mountain Zebra National Park
Today you head down south again to the Mountain Zebra Park, your overnight stop for today. (±457km) The park is well known for the preservation of Cape Mountain Zebra. Other mammals found here are eland, black wildebeest, red hartebeest, gemsbok and more.
Day 11 Addo Elephant National Park
During the morning you travel to the Addo Elephant National Park. (±275km) Here you spend the next two nights. You will have ample time to go out on game drives in search for the over 200 elephants, Cape buffalo and a variety of antelope species.

Day 12 Addo Elephant National Park
You overnight in the Addo National Park.
Day 13 Tsitsikamma National Park
Your camp for the night is in the Tsitsikamma National Park. (±285km) You will enjoy exploring the "jungle-like" Tsitsikamma Forest area with its old high trees, fynbos and rocky ravines.
Day 14 Knysna
You travel further along the coast and set up camp at the Woodbourne Resort, close to the Indian Ocean. (±100km)
Day 15
You continue your tour via George to Oudtshoorn. (±150km) There is ample time to explore the area and visit an Ostrich Farm, for which Oudtshoorn is famous, Cango Caves and much more.
Day 16
Travel to the most southern tip of the African continent, Cape Augulhas. This is the point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Your campsite, in Struisbaai is nearby. (±375km) You will have the time to explore the park and visit the second oldest working lighthouse in Southern Africa at Cape Agulhas, or take a walk on one of the nature trails in this unique fynbos area.

Day 17
You are heading in a northerly direction through the famous Cape Wineland region to your next overnight campsite at the Berg River Resort close to Paarl. (±250km)
Day 18 Cape Town, Stellenbosch
You take a leisurely drive via Stellenbosch and Somerset West to Simon's Town, which lies on the foot of the mountains just south of Cape Town. Your camping for the next night is at Oatlands Holiday Village. (±250km) During this day you have ample time to explore the area east of Cape Town.
Day 19
Today you explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, visit Cape Town, Table Mountain, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and other interesting places. Your campsite for the night is just North of Cape Town at the Ou Skip Caravan Park close to Melkbosstrand. (±150km)
Day 20
This is your last day in the camper, after a leisurely drive through the area you return your campers to the Maui Office. Transfer to the Cape Town International Airport and flight back home.
