5 day Mt Kenya ClimbMt Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa and on this safari you will have the opportunity of ascending its third highest peak, Point Lenana (4950 m).

Start: Nairobi
Scheduled flights: Nairobi International Airport
Day 1 Mount Kenya
Depart Nairobi for Mount Kenya. Here you will meet with porters and guide, and proceed on to Naro Moru Park gate 2.400m.Begin acclimatization hike [3 hours] to Met Station 3.050m for overnight. All meals provided.
Day 2
Hike leisurely to Mackinders camp 4.200m for overnight [5-6 hours] - All meals provided.
Day 3
Pre - down attempt Pt. Lenana 4.985m and descend to Shiptons camp 4.200m for overnight - all meals provided.
Day 4
Descend leisurely to the park gate via Old Moses camp 3.300m. At the park gate you meet your transfer vehicle to Naro Moru River Lodge for overnight on HB basis.
Day 5
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arrive mid-day.
End: Nairobi
