The safari commences in Maun - gateway to the famous wildlife areas of Botswana. Upon arrival you are met by a representative who will assist you with formalities and boarding your charter flight by light aircraft to Deception Valley Lodge. The Lodge is on the edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, where we will meet your guide. Your stay here allows you to enjoy a night drive, where there is a good chance of encountering some of the fascinating nocturnal wildlife. | Day 2 & 3
Continue today to the Reserve itself, where we will meet the camp staff. The days are spent exploring the desert environment of the Central Kalahari on extensive game-drives. | Day 4 & 5 Okavango
Fly by light aircraft into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Explore the Okavango by canoe, powerboat and on nature walks guided by the resident naturalist. Two overnights are at the superb Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp in luxury elevated East African style safari tents with en suite facilities. | Day 6 & 7 Moremi Wildlife Reserve
After an early game drive and breakfast, proceed by charter aircraft to the North Gate (Khwai) region of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. The mobile camp will have been pre-erected by camp staff. Enjoy two days of game viewing in this area. Two overnights at North Gate in a fully serviced camp. | Day 8 & 9 Chobe National Park, Savuti
After breakfast, continue overland to Savute. Camp staff will break camp and relocate it at Serondela. Savute is world renowned for its large concentrations of game and a strong and stable population of predators. The accommodation at Savute Elephant Camp is a deluxe 24-bedded lodge overlooking the dry Savute Channel. Extensive game viewing drives are sure to provide you with excellent game sightings and photographic opportunities. Accommodation is in 12 luxurious twin bedded tents with private timber decks. Spacious en suite facilities have a "his and hers" vanity unit and a dressing room area. Each tent is equipped with an electric heater, electric overhead fan and mosquito net. One of the features of the camp is its specially constructed "elephant proof" swimming pool. Savute is known for its exciting year-round game viewing and excellent birding. A treasury of Bushman rock paintings preserved at various sites a short distance from the camp, are a special attraction. | Day 10 & 11 Chobe National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Serondela in the north of Chobe National Park. This area provides excellent game viewing drives, whilst birding too, is exceptional. Take the opportunity of enjoying a riverboat cruise on the Chobe River. Two overnights at Afro Ventures' fully serviced camp in the Serondela area. | Day 12 Victoria Falls
Proceed to Victoria Falls by road where you are taken on a guided tour of the Falls. The rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight at the gracious Victoria Falls Hotel. | Day 13
After breakfast you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport where the safari terminates. | End: Victoria Falls
