Features
Environment
Once construction of the lodge was completed, Jaci's team immediately started to replenish the ground by planting indigenous flora and rehabilitating the area surrounding the entire Lodge.
On the game drives side, strict policies are practised as set out by the North West Parks where the game drives do not drive off road in sensitive areas (e.g pans), after/during rainstorms, and after fire. If roads or veld have deteriorated to any extent, guides on the Reserve are requested to rehabilitate before further deterioration takes place. During game viewing all sightings are restricted to between 1 and 3 vehicles unless otherwise stipulated.
Certain vulnerable species are not allowed to be viewed by spot-light after dark.
Facilities
The main complex is different, open plan, curved around a huge anthill, under shady trees overlooking the water hole and on the banks of the Marico River. Meals come from an ultra modern kitchen, spotless, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush on a "braai", surrounded by nature. Upstairs there is a quiet reading space. There is also a well-stocked ethnic craft shop. Jaci's Safari Lodge now has a fully equipped gym situated between Jaci's Safari Lodge and Jaci's Tree lodge as well as a kiddies play area, overlooking the river. Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, there is a cool swimming pool overlooking the river.
Accommodation
8 large rooms and 1 suite

Featuring only eight large rooms and the exclusive 2 bed-roomed "Nare Suite" - all built with shaggy thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows - to create a true safari atmosphere, inviting you to enjoy your bush surroundings. Early risers may catch a glimpse of Bush Babies returning to roost in the trees around the rooms or enjoy the morning Francolin calls.
Family
Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci's. Children aged 12 and under are comfortably accommodated in their parents' room on their own stretcher. Children aged 7 years and under are taken on their own Game Drive during the day by one of the rangers - this is a kiddie's drive and is geared totally to the children's interests and age level. An earlier evening meal at 18:00 is provided for the kids, as they are not allowed in the boma for the evening meal.
