| Day 1 Lake Malawi, Cape Maclear SAA flight from Johannesburg to Lilongwe. Scenic road transfer to Cape Mac Lodge on the lakeshore at Cape Maclear (transfer time 3hr30min). Overnight at Cape Mac Lodge. | Day 2 Lake Malawi Short stroll along the beach to reception. After a familiarisation and safety briefing on the beach, boatride or kayak out to Island (boatride takes 45min). Overnight in Island Camp. | Day 3 - 7 Cape Maclear Days at leisure. Relax or explore at will, making use of sea kayaks, snorkelling gear and shady hammocks. Overnight in Mumbo Island Camp. | Day 8: Boat ride back to the mainland, followed by the road transfer to Lilongwe airport for the return flight to Johannesburg. | Note: * Itineraries can be tailored to suit specific requests.
