Day 1 Ghanzi We depart from Windhoek and head towards the Botswana border. We spend our first night on tour close to the border. There is an opportunity here for interaction with local people as well as other activities. Optional Activities: Bushman Walk

Day 2 - 4 Okavango Our journey takes us through the border into Botswana and on to Maun. We arrive in the afternoon were we leave our truck behind, board our planes, and head into the Delta. After a wonderful scenic flight we arrive at our base for the next three days. During our time in the Delta we will go on a nature walk and a mokoro ride with the local people. The Delta is truly spectacular and an unforgettable experience. Two per tent; BLD |
Day 5 Caprivi Strip Sadly we leave the Delta behind us and cross back into Namibia. We travel through the Caprivi National Park en route to our destination next to the Zambezi River. We spend the night relaxing next to this mighty river.

Day 6 Chobe National Park Today is a short drive back into Botswana to Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River. We depart on an afternoon River Cruise in search for game. Many people take the chance to go on the optional morning Game Drive. Optional Activities: Chobe Game Drive

Day 7 Victoria Falls Arriving early at our final destination of Victoria Falls, we have lunch and those who want to can visit the Falls. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks. Optional Activities: Zambezi Sunset Cruise, Victoria Falls NP

Day 8 Most people will spend the day White Water Rafting a not-to-be-missed experience of a lifetime! Vic Falls offers many exciting alternatives. The last evening can be spent together as a group at a local restaurant, recounting our tour experiences and adventures. Optional Activities: White Water Rafting, Bungee Jump.

Day 9 Departure is at 6am from Savanna Lodge. If you would like to avoid Zimbabwe you can arrange a transfer to Kasane where you will be collected at about 7.30am. It is a long and uneventful drive through Botswana to the border at Martinsdrift where we will spend the night.

Day 10 Johannesburg Another 6am departure will ensure that you cover the next 750 km and get to Johannesburg as early as possible. |
Day 11 Leaving behind Johannesburg, the city of gold, we head through the province of Mpumalanga. Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes will be some of today's highlights on the famous Panorama route. We overnight in a wildlife concession are just outside Kruger Park.

Day 12 Southern Kruger We get up early and head off for a morning game walk before entering Kruger NP. The next two days are spent exploring the southern part of this vast reserve and we stand a good chance of sighting elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo - Africa's famed "Big Five".

Day 13 Southern Kruger Our game drives continue and an early start usually rewards us with some great sightings. Keep your eyes open for the diverse bird life and the more elusive animals. Tonight we stay in another delightful rest camp. Optional Activities: Night Game Drive

Day 14 Blyde River Canyon We complete our Kruger Park experience with an early morning game drive before heading back towards Gauteng through the subtropical Lowveld and some breathtaking vistas of the area. Along the way we will stop at a cultural village where you will have the change to experience some local culture and buy local crafts and curios.
