You will be met at Maun International Airport, and travel to the lodge in Maun, where you can unpack, shower and relax. In the afternoon an optional game flight offers you an aerial view of the Okavango Delta. Dinner will be enjoyed at the Maun Lodge Restaurant.
Overnight Maun Lodge, Maun | Day 2 Xakanaxa, Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Make an early start and drive through traditional villages before entering the South Gate into Moremi Wildlife Reserve. You should see game en-route to this reserve. The game drives take you on a scenic road through Moremi to Xakanaxa Lagoons. You will be shown to your tent and have time to shower before dinner is served in dining tent. Camping at Xakanaxa. | Day 3 Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Early morning game drive through Moremi with its magnificent scenery in search of numbers of wildlife resident in this area. Return to camp at about 11h00 for delicious brunch. Time to relax in camp. Camping at Xakanaxa. | Day 4 Khwai River
Having had breakfast, leave Xakanaxa and continue on an interesting riverine route through Moremi to arrive and set up camp within sight of the Khwai River at Moremi's North Gate. Camping in Khwai. | Day 5 Khwai River
Early morning and afternoon game drives exploring the Khwai River area should reveal a large variety of game. Leisure time to relax in camp during the day. We spend our last evening around the campfire. Overnight Khwai. | Day 6 Maun
After a leisurely breakfast it is time to pack up and slowly return to Maun. This is the last chance to spot those animals that might have avoided us so far. Lunch stop en route. You should arrive in Maun early afternoon - in time for your flight connection. | End: Maun
