|  | The trail camp of the Wolhuter Trail is situated midway between Berg-en-dal and Pretoriuskop in the southern section of the Kruger Park - the heart of white rhino country.

| Take a nostalgic walk in the footsteps of the legendary veteran father and son rangers, Harry and Henry Wolhuter, or visit the old haunts of Jock of the Bushveld - the dog made famous by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. A geological feature of note is the impressive Mangake Hill, which towers over the surrounding bush like a granite sentinel. The Mlambane Stream and other river banks offer exciting walks where buffalo, elephant, rhino (both black and white), lion, leopard and zebra are frequently sighted. Sunset at Stolsnek and Newu dams, with the associated birdlife, is an unforgettable experience.
Kruger's wilderness trails enable adventurous visitors to make close personal contact with nature by traversing large areas of unspoilt wilderness on foot, under the guidance of armed and experienced trail rangers. Groups are limited to eight persons and the duration is three nights and four days.
A daily conservation levy is payable (included in the price range indicated). Wild Card members do not pay conservation fees provided that Proof of Identity and Wild Card are presented on arrival.
Note: We charge a 10% Handling Fee on all Trail bookings. Wilderness Trails are not available between 15 December and 15 January. |

| Start: Southern Kruger Persons doing the Wolhuter Trail are advised to book accommodation in Berg-en-Dal Camp the night prior to commencing the trail unless they can guarantee they will get to Berg-en-Dal by 15:30 on the day of departure.

Simple, wholesome meals are provided. The day commences with coffee and rusks in the crisp morning hours. A light meal is enjoyed in the bush and brunch awaits the group when they return at noon. Evening meals comprise either hunters' stew or barbecues, supplemented with salads and vegetables.
