| This small village and reserve lies in the Garden Route, at the bottom of the Groot River Pass, with its charming setting of mountain, forest, lagoon and sea.
| The valley is surrounded on three sides by the Tsitsikamma National Park and provides a splendid place for rambling, walking (short routes of up to 4 kilometre have been established) and bird-watching (species such as Cape gannet, fish eagle, giant kingfisher, black oystercatcher among many others). There is a caravan and camping ground in the park.
Storms River Mouth is the start of the Otter Trail. This five-day hike was the first organized trail in the country and still one of the favourites. It passes through magnificent coastal scenery and wild forests and ends on the beautiful beach of Nature's Valley.
A daily conservation levy is payable (included in the price range indicated). Wild Card members do not pay conservation fees provided that Proof of Identity and Wild Card are presented on arrival.
