There are 2 hides, situated along the perimeter fence, overlooking a waterhole and the surrounding bush. The closest restcamps to Talamati are Satara and Orpen - here you will find a restaurant, shop and petrol station. | Accommodation
There are 15 family cottages spread out in a long well-spaced line amongst the trees along the N'waswitsontso River. The camp can accommodate a maximum of 70 visitors. There are 2 accommodation options:
10 two-bedroom cottages Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, one has 3 single bed, and the other, 2 single beds. One bedroom has a bathroom en suite (bath, toilet, and washbasin) There is a separate toilet and a separate shower and washbasin. The kitchen has a gas stove (with oven), refrigerator, sink, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The diningroom is an open verandah. 5 one- bedroom cottages The bedroom has two single beds and a ceiling fan. There are two bench-beds in the living room and a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and washbasin and interleading doors to the bedroom and livingroom. the kitchen/diningroom is an open verandah and has a two-plate gas stove (without oven), sink, refrigerator, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The Cottage that burnt down earlier in the year has been rebuilt and revamped to a more luxurious standard. It has 2 separate bedrooms both en suite, one with a double bed, the other with 2 singles. |
