| Start: Windhoek Scheduled flights: Hosea Kutako Airport(Windhoek) | Day 1 & 2 Sossusvlei, Sesriem, Namib Naukluft Park The tour commences with the collection of guests from the three major city hotels. The capital is spread out in a wide valley and stands at an altitude of 1,650m in the middle of Namibia's central highlands. Travel via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass and town of Solitaire to your Lodge. Guests will experience the ever-changing landscapes, as the terrain becomes more arid as we continue past the Naukluft massif and into the pro-Namib. An early start is imperative, as this is not only the coolest part of the day but the best for photography. Your journey takes you to the famous Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Observe the fauna and flora that inhabits this region. Climbing one of the dunes affords the energetic traveller with an unforgettable experience of endless vistas across a sea of apricot-coloured sand. Time will be taken to explore the impressive sandstone gorges of the Sesriem Canyon, with its rock pools fed by the Tsauchab, the same river that feeds Sossusvlei during the rainy season. To draw water from the pools, early travellers had to tie a bucket to six (ses) ox thongs (rieme) lashed together, hence the name, Sesriem. Return to the Lodge for lunch. During the afternoon join a guided nature / sunset drive to the Marble Mountains or relax at the Lodge. Accommodation at Namib Naukluft Lodge. Dinner on Day 1; breakfast packs, lunch & dinner on Day 2. | Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast you are transferred back to Windhoek and your Hotel. | End: Windhoek Scheduled flights: Hosea Kutako Airport(Windhoek) |

Hi Julia, I had a fantastic time in Africa. I am very impressed with ecoAfrica services. Our guide, Salatiel was excellent. He was very friendly and helpful. The service that I received from both you and Anza before departing was wonderful. Dealing with individuals online is always a challenge but I received excellent service from the both of you which I greatly appreciated. Namibia is a beautiful country although I was only able to enjoy it for 3 days. I will be sure to return and spend more time there next time. Sossusvlei definitely exceeded expectations! Being on top of the sand dune, it is difficult to describe to people who haven't experienced it how awesome it really is. The accommodations were very good. The sunset view from our back porch was incredible as was the sunset drive. No complaints. Thankfully I don't get car sick or else I would not have been able to make the trip from Windhoek! Thank-you for everything and I would not hesitate to deal with ecoAfrica again in the future!
