| The brand-new Singita Lebombo Lodge is located on the eastern boundary of the Kruger National Park. The acquisition of the 15 000-hectare 20-year concession in a remote part of the world-renowned park was a significant conservation and corporate coup for the Singita Group. The culmination of an extensive search for a product that would complement the top-rated Singita, while also differing from from it, resulted in Singita Lebombo Lodge. The goal of creating a diverse safari circuit to attract guests to visit both properties, was achieved.
The Lebombo mountain range which runs through the eastern section has a particular impact on the habitat, which is significantly distinct from the habitat at Singita. The land comprises foothills of the Lebombo range, and overlooks the Nwanetsi River at its confluence with the Sweni River and the savannah plains beyond. The area boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in the entire Kruger National Park.
The suites are set into a clifftop overlooking the river, and the main lodge is located to take full advantage of the sweeping views of the Lebombo mountains and surrounding bush. |

| Facilities Facilities and amenities associated include numerous ‘experiences within the experience’, including various dining and living areas, wine cellars, a fully equipped gymnasium and a state-of-the-art health spa overlooking the confluence of the rivers. | Accommodation Boyd Ferguson and Andrew Makin have designed a Lodge that will be substantially different to any of the other Singita properties, although still holding to their philosophy to tread lightly. Two lodges have been constructed, one comprising 15 units and the other with 6 units. The full-suite rooms can be described as elevated lofts, constructed primarily with glass and wood featuring exceptional views. | Family No children under 12 years unless the lodge is block booked. Children under 12 years of age sharing with an adult (triple rooms) pay 50% of adult tariff. | ecoQuest Awards Singita is a recipient of the Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa trademark for their commitment not only to the environment, but also to social and community development. Singita launched its social responsibility programmes with the aim of delivering tangible results to neighbouring communities. School buildings, vegetable gardens, computers, libraries and numerous other resources have been donated and developed by Singita.
One of the most successful community-based initiatives is the Singita Community Tour, operated by Zamani Mathebula, who instituted it while he was a waiter at Singita. Zamani developed the tour in response to guests asking him about his background and everyday life in his village. This tour now enables guests to share in the culture and history of the Shangaan people, while also visiting some of the community projects supported by Singita.
Singita has proven that a commitment to luxury and style can not only coexist with a commitment to social, economic and environmental development, it can enhance the total travel experience. | Rate includes · Luxurious accommodation .
