| Start: Johannesburg Scheduled flights: Johannesburg International Airport | Day 1 Nata Departing Johannesburg, we cross the border into Botswana. This vast, thinly populated country is one of Africa's economic success stories. After changing money into the local currency, we continue to Nata, where we camp at the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans and relax around the campfire. (D) | Day 2 Victoria Falls, Zambezi River, Livingstone, Chobe River Rising early, we head through the Chobe District, where it is common to see migratory elephants along the roadside. We then cross into Zambia via the Kazangula ferry. Arriving in Livingstone, we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Victoria Falls. Afternoon to be spent on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. (BLD) | Day 3 Victoria Falls Your time is spent at leisure, partaking in the many activities available in the adrenalin capital of Africa. Activities include canoeing, microlighting, gorge swinging, jet boating and more! The brave can do one of the highest bungee jumps in the world or, for the more adventurous, a rhino walk in the National Park. You can also visit the markets, which are filled with great craft souvenirs. The evenings are spent camping on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. (BD) | Day 4 Victoria Falls Today the brave can do one of the highest bungy jumps in the world over the gorge, or more activities like water rafting. The Zambezi is one of the only commercially rafted Grade 5 rivers in the world. For the less adventurous amongst us, you can do a rhino walk in the National Park, or why not hire a bicycle and explore the town or cross the bridge and visit Zimbabwe and the town of Victoria Falls for another view of the Falls. The markets you will find on this side are filled with crafts and carvings that make great souvenirs. (B,D) | Day 5 Chobe River After an early departure, we cross the river via the Kazungula ferry back to Botswana and set up camp in Kasane with the breathtaking view of the Chobe River. This afternoon you have the option to relax and enjoy some great game viewing on a river cruise on the Chobe River. (BD) | Day 6 Chobe National Park At sunrise we do an unforgettable 4x4 safari into the Chobe National Park, with the chance to see much wildlife including some of the large herds of migratory elephant that Botswana is famous for. Returning to camp, we have a late breakfast and then head south to Francistown, where we enjoy our final evening. (BD) | Day 7 We take a relaxed drive to Johannesburg, crossing the border back into South Africa, arriving mid afternoon.
