| Important information regarding gorilla permits:
Uganda - Permits to view gorillas in Uganda are in high demand, with currently two family groups with 12 people per day being allowed to view at Bwindi, with an additional four permits temporarily available at Bwindi to view a third family, and 6 at Mgahinga.
Rwanda - there are four family groups for trekking in Rwanda, with a total of 30 permits per day being available.
In all cases the Gorilla Permit will be pre-booked and prepaid prior to final confirmation of the safari - safaris are thus dependent on availability of permits. This tour price excludes your permit for Gorilla Trekking, approximately US$ 365. |

Entebbe - Lake Victoria Hotel. Ngamba Chimpanzee sanctuary, half day tour by boat. Bed & Breakfast. | Day 2 Bwindi National Park
Drive (4-5 hours) to Lake Mburo National Park where you will overnight in a tented camp on a full board basis. Options of game drives, bush walks and lake excursions in the afternoon | Day 3
Approximately a 7 hour drive to Rwanda - Ruhengeri. Overnight at a lodge on a full board basis. | Day 4
Gorilla trekking with pre-purchased permits. Overnight at lodge in Rwanda on a full board basis. | Day 5
Option for second gorilla trekking. Overnight as above. | Day 6
Approximately 6 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you will overnight at a lodge on a full board basis. | Day 7
Today you will have a third opportunity to trek gorillas in the forest. Overnight at a lodge or hotel in the Kabale region on a full board basis. | Day 8 Entebbe
Return to Entebbe. It is a full day drive or just under 2 hours if you fly out on a charter flight. (Additional cost). Option to add on an overnight at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, or hotel in Entebbe/Kampala also at an additional cost. | Rate includes
