| The Linyanti Reserve consists of 125,000 hectares, two thirds of which is made up by the Savuti Channel. The Savuti area is famous for its Lions, which have been documented in National Geographic films. It is in this reserve that DumaTau is situated. |

| Facilities
The camp overlooks an enormous lagoon. The communal area consists of dining room & pub under thatch and on poles; a plunge pool; curio shop; evening campfire and guest toilet with a fantastic view!
Cruises down the river take place on a 1x6 Seater motor boat or single decker pontoon boat. | Accommodation

Each room is thatched and boasts views over the floodplains & lagoon. All rooms have hot and cold running water, flush toilets and shower. There is an additional outdoor open-air shower, for those who prefer to be closer to nature.
Each tent has a fan and mosquito net above beds. Soaps, shampoos and insect repellants are supplied in each room. | Family
Parties with children between the ages of 8 and 12 years are required to book private activities (unless they have booked the camps on an exclusive basis). This service is subject to availability at the camps on the dates required. Younger children generally do not have the same attention span and this can impact on other guests whilst on activities and therefore, children will only be accepted if these private activities have been booked.
Usually families of 4 or more incur no extra costs, but smaller family parties of 2 and 3 may result in these additional costs being levied.
Please note that the private family vehicle service does not always mean that only one family (unless this was specifically booked and paid for) will be on that vehicle. More than one family may be tied in together on one vehicle, when feasible and without impacting on comfort, to allow us to accommodate as many families as possible.
There is a family unit with 2 adjoining rooms. There is a door to the side of the bathroom that leads into the second room. They share one bathroom and there is only a door separation. The unit sleeps a maximum of 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably as the room is a bit small for 3 beds.
Separate dinners can be arranged at the family unit. If the family room is already booked and another family wants to book then we can only provide a mattress or camp bed in an existing twin (subject to concession numbers) and then generally no discounts apply to those children. | Rate includes
