Hazyview travel info Close to the Kruger National Park, the picturesque village of Hazyview lies in a lush valley on the banks of the tranquil Sabi River, surrounded by mountains and magnificent scenery. The rich green countryside around Hazyview produces a wide variety of tropical fruits and the many roadside farm stalls sell mangoes, litchis, bananas and other fruit and vegetables in season as well as local ethnic crafts. The largest banana plantations in South Africa are in the Hazyview district and one can do a banana plantation tour at Nabana Park. Guided tours are also offered at a silk farm, the only one of its kind in South Africa, which is about an hour's drive to the north of Hazyview. The area boasts the widest selection of accommodation in Mpumalanga, with more than 3 500 beds in a choice of luxury hotels, guest lodges, timeshare resorts and self-catering units. back to Hazyview top
