| Situated in the Londolozi area of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Bateleur Camp fondly recollects its past from the humble beginnings of simple rondawel huts and bucket showers. It is built on the site of the original Sparta hunting camp and pays tribute to the evolution of the Londolozi vision under the guidance of the Varty brothers, who renamed the farm "Londolozi" - the Shangaan word for "protector of living things".

| Facilities The sitting and dining area at Bateleur Camp offer awe-inspiring views of the Sand River. Four rondavels, which date back to the original Sparta Hunting Camp, are a special feature. One is a traditional safari bedroom and the others have been converted into a museum, a well-stocked wine cellar and an library (with Internet access). Historical photographs of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve add to the congenial atmosphere of the spacious deck, which incorporates an ancient Ebony Tree.
