South African National Parks (SANP) retains the right to change any tariffs, service or rules without prior notification.

This document contains booking terms and conditions for accommodation and camping, night game drives and hiking/wilderness trails, and some general conditions.
A deposit equal to the full cost calculated at the basic tariff of the reserved accommodation, is payable within 31 days of the date on which the reservation is. The due date for the payment of a deposit for a late reservation will be determined for each individual case.
Should we receive reservation requests within the SA National Parks' cancellation period of 0 - 31 days prior to arrival, FULL payment is required within 24 hours after booking is confirmed.
- a completed electronic reservation form or email detailing the required accommodation;
- a faxed copy of the completed credit card payment authorisation form (which will be emailed to you).
Should the parks be fully booked for the requested dates, no payment shall nor can be made against the credit card. Should the dates be available, full payment will automatically be processed in order to confirm the reservation.
Should no credit card authorisation form be received, no provisional bookings can be made within this period.
Reservations are released to the relevant parks from 3 working days before the arrival date. Consequently, ecoAfrica Travel is unable to process reservations at such short notice. Kindly contact the relevant parks' camps directly.
A booking made and paid for in full, then cancelled, with adequate notice (as per above), will be refunded with the following deductions:
This booking and eventual contract between the client and ecoAfrica Travel shall be deemed to be concluded in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa; and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In the event of any action hereunder, the Supreme Court of South Africa (Cape Town Local Division) shall have jurisdiction in regard thereto, not-with-standing that the amount of the claim may be within the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court.
Night games drives and other excursions offered at restcamps can be booked in advance with ecoAfrica Travel. Kindly specify on the request form.
Priority will be given to reservation applications made 13 months in advance. Reservations are made and confirmed between 11 and 12 months in advance. Other applications will be considered after the aforementioned applications have been processed.
A deposit equal to 33% of the total cost of the wilderness/hiking trail is payable within 30 days of the date on which the reservation is made (with a minimum amount of R50,00). The balance is payable 91 days prior to the arrival date. In the case of late reservations (166 days or less prior to the arrival date), the full cost of the reserved trail is payable as a deposit. Should the balance not be received in time, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
Note: ecoAfrica Travel will charge a handling fee.
A reservation cancelled in its entirety, or a reserved trail not taken up, is regarded as a cancellation. In the case of a cancellation the following schedule applies:
For downgrading of a reservation when a deposit has been paid, percentage is calculated on the difference:
Decrease number of persons within 90-31 days prior to arrival - 50% forfeiture of the difference. Within 30 days and less prior to to or on arrival - 100% forfeiture.
Arrival date moved to an earlier date within 30 days and less prior to or on arrival - 50% forfeiture of total cost.
Arrival date moved forward within 90-31 days
prior to arrival - 50% forfeiture of total cost.
Within 30 days and less prior to or on arrival - 100% forfeiture.

Visitors may not bring any animals or birds into a national park.
All firearms must be declared at the entrance gates, and sealed where applicable.
